Frequently Asked Questions
Does the caregiver live in or visit on schedule?
Both options exist. We can arrange 8 or 12-hour shifts, 24-hour live-in, or a few hours per day. Live-in care requires a separate room/bed for the caregiver.
Can the family choose the caregiver?
Yes. If the first caregiver isn't a fit, you can request a replacement. The first switch within the initial week comes with no extra fee.
Are caregivers insured?
Yes. All staff working through Asya Home Healthcare have formal contracts and insurance.
Does the caregiver only mind the senior, or also do housework?
The caregiver's primary duty is the senior's care. The senior's meals, clothing and room cleaning are included; broader housework (laundry, ironing) requires a separate arrangement.
Are caregivers trained for dementia patients?
Yes — we have staff specialized in dementia and Alzheimer's care, trained in memory exercises, agitation management and wandering prevention.
