What Is Home Nursing?
Home nursing is the application of medically prescribed treatments and care procedures at home by a licensed nurse, in accordance with a doctor's plan. It is preferred especially for post-operative patients, the elderly and those with chronic conditions because it eliminates hospital travel fatigue, reduces infection risk and lets the patient recover surrounded by family.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is a doctor's prescription required?
Yes — for medication-based procedures (injections, IV, antibiotics) a prescription is mandatory. For dressings, vital monitoring or catheter care it is not strictly required, but sharing your treatment plan helps us serve you better.
Do you offer one-time or recurring service?
Both. We accommodate single visits (e.g. post-op suture removal) as well as recurring schedules (e.g. three IV sessions per week, daily insulin). A custom plan is built around your needs.
How long does the nurse stay at home?
Duration depends on the procedure. An injection takes 10–15 minutes; an IV session 1–2 hours; comprehensive dressing 30–45 minutes. If observation is needed the visit can be extended.
How fast do you arrive in an emergency?
Within Istanbul we typically arrive in 30 to 60 minutes. For acute situations like sudden aspiration or fever we dispatch the nearest team.
Do private health insurance plans cover this?
Some complementary health insurance policies cover home nursing. Please confirm with your insurer; we provide all required documentation (invoice, service form).
