Frequently Asked Questions
Do you administer injections without a prescription?
No. Every drug application requires a doctor's prescription — both for legal and safety reasons. We can guide you to a doctor when needed.
Can you help someone afraid of needles?
Of course. Our nurses use gentle techniques and can apply distraction or cold compresses. We're experienced with children too.
How long does an IV session take?
A standard 500 ml saline takes 1–2 hours; antibiotic IVs 30–90 minutes; specialized infusions (e.g. iron) 3–4 hours.
Are there side effects?
Allergic reactions, local redness or dizziness are rare. The nurse monitors throughout and intervenes if needed.
Can you support someone using an insulin pump?
Yes — we have nurses experienced in pump cannula changes, set follow-up and patient education.
